Job Description: Supports LVPG Operations department's network-wide Lean transformation efforts in physician's practices. Coach will lead the standardized processes for the both the creation and facilitation of continuous improvement, standard operations (standard work), and the Daily Management System. Coach will provide direct education to LVPG Managers, Physician Leads, and other LVPG departments. Coach will promote the problem solving tools in the Lean System to support a culture of continuous improvement while always providing value to the customer. The LVPG Operations Lean Coach will maintain collaboration efforts with the LVHN Lean Department and strive to be an expert in the deployment of Lean Improvement Tools, Systems, and Principles. The LVPG Operations Lean Coach will have sound client management skills (internal clients) and provide continuous support to LVPG administration of practices. Coach will collaborate and assist with patient-experience colleagues, LVPG Operations, EMR teams and other essential functions in operations to provide internal consulting using lean strategies and data analysis. Coach will lead the standardized processes for both the creation and facilitation of Value Stream Analyses (VSAs), Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs), Kaizen Events, as well as other continuous improvement initiatives within LVPG. Strives to be an expert in the Toyota Product System lean methodologies utilized within LVHN. Serves as an organizational expert in the deployment of Lean Improvement Tools, Systems, & Principles.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree required. Minimum three (3) years of experience in health-related field. Process Improvement experience of three (3) years, including Lean systems and tools, and data analysis. Knowledge of performance improvement methods, tools, and techniques for both developing and driving a continuous improvement culture.

Preferred Qualifications: Five (5) or more years of experience in health-related field Lean Certification desired.
