Job Description:
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, provide continuous, direct one-to-one patient observation to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.

Opportunities exist at all hospital campuses and are available in some of specialties listed below:
  • Medical/Surgical
  • Float Pool
  • Critical Care
  • Progressive Critical Care
  • Emergency Department
  • Behavioral Health
  • Women and Children
Minimum Requirements: Currently enrolled in a BSN program. Must be at least a first semester sophomore student, have successfully completed nursing clinical fundamentals in a live clinical enviornment and possess a GPA of 3.0. High School graduate. Successful completion of Department of Education orientation.
Candidates must have effective communication skills. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate initiative and function independently as well as interdependently.
Preferred Qualifications:
GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Licensure and Certifications:
BLS within two months of hire.
