Job Description: Assures and/or provides patient care in accordance with the RN job description. With the Director, assumes accountability for the direction and management of patient care within assigned area. Assists Director in the management of material, financial and human resources within the assigned unit.

Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure. Current BLS Healthcare Provider. Baccalaureate degree in nursing. Individuals selected for this position who do not hold a baccalaureate degree are required to actively pursue and complete the same. Minimum three years experience as a registered nurse in an acute care hospital setting. Demonstrates proficiency in directing and guiding personnel. Demonstrates initiative and is able to function independently as well as interdependently. Demonstrates the ability to initiate, accept and adapt to change. Demonstrates time management and organizational skills. Accepts and recognizes differences among people.

Preferred Qualifications: N/A

Licensure and Certifications: Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure. Current BLS Health Care Provider.
