Job Description: 8 week training and orientation program. Provides direct patient care, including treatments and diagnostic studies as directed by a Registered Nurse. Provides other support services, dictated by patient needs, as a care delivery team member. Utilizes effective and appropriate communication styles. Supports unit and hospital goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent. No previous health care experience required or less than 6 month healthcare experience. Demonstrates effective communication skills. Demonstrates initiative and is able to function independently as well as interdependently. Demonstrates the ability to initiate, accept and adapt to change. Demonstrates time management and organizational skills. Accepts and recognizes differences among people. Must successfully complete ACT® WorkKeys® assessments in Observation and Teamwork as a part of the application process for further consideration for this position. Must be able to attend and successfully complete a 12 week full time, paid, day shift orientation. This position has an every other weekend and every other holiday rotation.

Preferred Qualifications: Strong customer service skills, clinical work experience and/or clinical education is preferred.
