Job Description: Provides direct patient care, including treatments and diagnostic studies under supervision of an RN. Effectively utilizes appropriate communication styles and supports unit and hospital goals and objectives. May provide other support services, dictated by patient needs, as a care delivery team member.

Minimum Requirements: Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing. Demonstrates effective communication skills. Demonstrates initiative and is able to function independently, as well as interdependently. Demonstrates time management and organizational skills. Demonstrates leadership and team building skills. Demonstrates the ability to initiate, accept and adapt to change. Recognizes and accepts differences among people. All graduates are required to obtain their BSN within four years of their potential start date.
Preferred Requirements:BSN from an accredited school of nursing.A minimum GPA of 3.0. Prior experience in a healthcare setting. Completion of clinical rotation at Lehigh Valley Health Network is preferred.

Licensure and Certifications: Must have a valid temporary permit or RN licensure in Pennsylvania prior to start date.

Influenza vaccination is required for all colleagues with patient contact unless medically contraindicated or due to a bona fide religious belief or practice, and is strongly encouraged for all colleagues.
